Saadia Pharmaceuticals was named after a 6-year-old boy named Saadia who was diagnosed with ASD. He could not speak until age 4 and nearly died on several occasions due to severe impulsivity.
He received ABA, speech, occupational, and physical therapies but to no avail, headed for group home placement. Two weeks after treatment with SP-101, he no longer met ASD diagnostic criteria and was able to attend a mainstream school. For Saadia and hundreds of other children and adults, results have been maintained for over a decade without serious side effects.
