Maxwell Zachary Price is a graduate of Columbia College, Columbia University in the City of New York, concentrating in Computational Neuroscience. He is currently a medical student at Hackensack Meridian School of Medicine and Masters of Public Health candidate at Thomas Jefferson University. Maxwell has co-authored several peer-reviewed articles in peer-reviewed journals, such as The LancetThe British Medical JournalCNS DrugsThe Journal of Clinical Psychiatry, and Nature Neuroscience covering a range of topics including attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, major depressive disorder, postpartum depression, Alzheimer’s disease, metabolic syndrome, addiction, and borderline personality.

His research has been featured in medical news outlets, such as Medscape, MDedge, and Psychiatry Advisor. He holds patents for a novel treatment for carcinogenic harmful blooms and a therapeutic method of an oral medication for treatment-resistant depression. Maxwell has presented his research at Psych Congress, received the first place Young Investigator Poster Competition award at the Neuroscience Education Institute Congress in 2023 and second place in 2024.
